Well, after arriving in Myrtle Beach around 8:00 pm last night, we found out that my Aunt has the stomach bug!!  Yuck!  And so does my cousin, his girlfriend, his 3 year old daughter, and one of the twins.  Needless to say, we turned around and left for home this morning.  Long drive for one night stay. :(  We did get a chance to feed the seagulls on the beach before we left!

After school today we started our drive to Myrtle Beach, SC.  My mom had to take my Grandma to my aunt's house and we decided it might be a fun trip to tag along.  I also wanted to take pictures of my cousins 4 month old twin boys.  I am the lucky one that has to ride in the back of the van.  Here is my view from the back... for 7+ hours!!!

Early appointment at the pediatrician... just a virus!  I knew I was going to hear those words, but I had to make sure the boys did not have an ear infection.  When we got there the boys were bouncing off the walls.  They did not look like they should be at the doctor.

I have been taking pictures of my favorite tree everyday, just waiting for it to pop!  Well, it did and I love that purple colors.  My favorite!

My boys loved playing this afternoon at a friends birthday party.  And, of course, loved the party favor too!

I arrived home today to a very nice surprise... flowers on my door step from two of my sweetest friends!  I love you girls!  You always know how to put a smile on my face :)

I enjoyed my morning today... it is preschool every Tuesday!!  The boys pushed my buttons again this afternoon.  I just can't seem to get it all together these days.  I do find joy in getting my camera out though.  I seem to capture the few moments of sanity from the day.

The boys found a squished mouse on our walk this afternoon.  It was the only time they were happy together.  I also enjoyed more picture taking of flowers :)

Can't say much about my day other than my boys sure know how to argue!  I feel like all I did today was break up fights between my kids.  I did find time to workout again... it felt really good to get back in the gym, and get a little sunshine.  I know I have been going a little crazy on the flower pictures, but I just can't get enough.

Today we celebrated my sister, Lindsey!  It was her birthday on March 2nd and we were out of town, so today was the day.  The plan was to grill out on the dock because it was going to be an 80 degree day...not so much.  It was only about 60 and cloudy.  We had a great time hanging out at the house and eating yummy KFC!!

After lunch the girls went shopping and the boys handled nap time.  Well, the little one napped, but Charlie always seems to work daddy and get to skip nap.  He spent the afternoon playing tennis in the yard with Poppy and Daddy... he loves to play.

One more thing on my sweet little Charlie.  We always say a bedtime prayer together and then Charlie says his own prayer.  Tonight he said his normal "Thank you for all the things in my life.  Please keep everyone healthy and don't get old so they don't go to heaven."  Then he added, "Please make everyone in New Jersey happy and keep Grandpa happy in heaven.  God, please eat your vegetables so you don't get sick and die.  Oh, and God, when we get up there we will give you big hugs and kisses.  Amen, God."

I just love this little guy!

We are enjoying having my Grandma, Gam, here visiting for a couple of weeks.  I have been spending lots of time with her and my parents this week, trying to keep her busy and get some joy back in her life.  We spent the morning and afternoon at the zoo today!  I love going there and we had more awesome weather to enjoy outside as well.

We rented a wheelchair for Gam and, believe it or not, she got tired of sitting and ended up pushing my two boys around for part of the afternoon.  We heard many comments from people as we passed by :)

Lunch at Costco with my mom, boys and Grandma!  Nap time lasted over 2 hours!  Went to the park to feed the ducks and play!  Ended with dinner at iHOP with family!  Today was a great day!

Today is the first time that my little Blakie sat in the chair without crying to get his hair cut.  I did not have my camera, but I am so proud of him.  I guess he is growing up :)

I am loving all of the beautiful spring flowers.  I came to visit my parents and grandma today and I found lots of different flowers that I don't have blooming at my house.  I wish flowers would stay on the trees all year, just minus the pollen :)

It is a lazy day around my house today.  We did venture out this morning to buy all new hangers for my closet.  I am trying to organize and clean out, and in the process I would like to have all matching hangers.  I just think it looks much cleaner when everything is matching.

I love the beginning of Spring.  Everything is starting to bud and I just feel life getting better every day.  Today I noticed a few new flowers on our Japanese Flowering Cherry tree, I had to look up the flower to find that name, but I just love a clean white flower on a tree.

Today we had another early start. We did not find out until last night at 9:30 at night that we would be losing an hour in the morning.  So, we actually got up at 3:30 am to head home to Gainesville.  It was actually a nice drive.  Instead of heading down good old 85, we decided to go a different way, a more scenic route.  It took a little longer, but I enjoyed driving through the mountains of NC!

Today was a sad day and a day to celebrate.  Our family and friends said goodbye to my G-dad in a memorial service to celebrate his wonderful life.  The service was held in the same church that my grandparents were married in 64 years ago.  I had the honor of reading a passage during the service... I get so nervous to speak in front of larges groups.  When my grandmother asked me if I would like to read, of course I said yes, but I was extremely nervous.  I feel like I sound nervous, look nervous and sometimes cry.  But, as I walked up to the podium, a calm came over me that I have never experienced before at times like this.  I do believe that my G-dad was there with me and let me know that I could do it and I had no reason to be nervous.  I will always remember this day and I am so happy that I was able to be a part of his celebration of life service. We will miss him dearly, but know that he is in heaven rejoicing with all the other angels!!

We had an early morning start today, and a long drive up to DC.  Tomorrow is my G-dad's memorial service.  The whole family got together at the old house for the last dinner there as a family.  The house is sold, but the family is slowly taking special memories away from their home.  We made so many wonderful memories here.  G-dad, we love you and miss you so much!

My boys love being outside even if it is really cold!  After nap, we had some outside play to drive the Escalade! :)  They were nice to each other for about 5 minutes.  Just enough time to snap some pictures!

Another day at the GA aquarium!  We met some friends at the aquarium this morning and had a great time.  It was the first time this year that it was not crowded with tons of school field trips.  I loved it!  The kids had a great time too :)

I also had the pleasure of photographing 9 month old, Kelsey!  She is so sweet and fun to photograph.  I can't wait to see her again in 3 months.

Today was a really great day.  The boys went with daddy to play at Bass Pro Shop, while I went with my sister to the outlet mall!  I took her so she could pick out her own birthday gift from us.  We ended up having some luck at Banana Republic, as always.

My pictures for today are of the boys playing ball in the house with their daddy.  I love the concentration while throwing the ball and the pure excitement of hitting daddy in the head.  My husband is so amazing with the boys.  What a great daddy!!
