Great morning at the zoo!

What a wonderful day!  The boys and I went to the zoo today with Grammie, my mom, and her best friend, Lol, and her grandson Michael.  We had a great time.  Blake loved the animals this time.  I think he actually looked for them this time.  Charlie was a little "teacher" today.  He tried to keep the two younger boys in line all day.  He helped Blake and Michael around the zoo all day.  I have needed a day like this for a while, one that is easy and fun.  It is easy to lose track of the fun times when you go through the grind day to day.  I love my boys... I just wish daddy could have been there too!

Saturday morning swim

We always have so much fun going out on the boat.  We also had a very fun filled weekend.  It started with the Gwinnett County Fair on Friday night, loved it!!  Can't wait for the Cumming Fair next week!  I will not forget my camera this time.  On Saturday, we started with a breakfast trip to Panera and then a quick boat ride and swim in the lake.  Saturday night was too much fun at a friends surprise 30th birthday party!  And Sunday was spent recovering from Saturday :)  I love the weekend!!

The boys have been enjoying the cooler weather, because mommy will take them outside more often!  We have been playing on the swing set a lot more and of course blowing bubbles, Blake's favorite thing to do. Here are a few pics from our outside play the other day :)

Dinner on the dock

We are loving the almost fall weather!  Last week we had dinner on the dock 4 nights in a row.  I am just looking so forward to the cool weather and being able to wear jeans and a t-shirt and not feel like I am going to sweat to death.  I love the fall!!

My little helper...

Charlie has been so helpful, well, at least that is what I have been telling him.  He is helping me "check my lighting."  He seems to only want his picture taken if he is doing something to help.  If I just ask him to look and smile he says "NO."  I just love some of the shots I have now that he is such a big helper.  I love this little boy so much.  He did do something naughty on Tuesday though.  I told him to stay on the couch and watch TV while I dried my hair.  Well, when I came down he had helped himself to an ice cream sandwich in the freezer.  He was hiding behind the island in the kitchen and when I asked him what he was doing he said... " Just having a quick ice cream sandwich, just a quick one."  I tried not to laugh and let him finish it.  I am such a sucker!  Here are a couple pictures of my baby "helping me with my lighting."

Hilton Head Island 2010

My favorite place to be!!  I just love Hilton Head!  We had such a wonderful vacation and loved that we were able to share it with the Gammons this year.  I really think everyone had a great time and I hope that we can do it again next year.  Blake loved the beach and the water after a little getting used to it.  Charlie was in heaven with all the fishing and running and swimming and biking and so much more.  I wish we had at least one more week to spend there.  I think I have over 1,200 pictures from the week!  I know, I go over board just a little :)  I will post more pictures after I have time to go through all of them.

 

Sweet baby Kelsey!

Last night was such a fun night!  I had the honor of photographing 3 month old Kelsey.  She is such a sweetheart!  I love seeing all the new things she can do, like hold her head up :)  I am also in love with her chunky little cheeks and all her adorable little rolls!!  What a wonderful family to spend time with and  I enjoy watching them interact with their precious little daughter.  It makes me smile! :)  Here is a sneak peek from our session and a few to see how much she has changed...
